Karakteristik Arsitektur di Kampung Cikadu Indah, Tanjung Lesung - Banten

Abstract

Cikadu Indah Village is a relocated village due to tourism development in Tanjung Lesung by the private sector and the local government. The development itself is very out of context from the local environment, by duplicating the tourism approaches in Bali and Jogjakarta, moreover its concept blindly copy-pastes the village of Baduy and the village of Mongol. This village actually has its own architectural uniqueness, which distincts from Baduy and Java-Banten (Serang-Cilegon). However this uniqueness experienced shifting and changing without any control. Conservation action should be done as soon as possible, by starting the study about its architectural characteristics. How is the characteristics of the traditional architecture in Kampung Cikadu Indah? This study is a qualitative research, which is aimed to study the architectural characteristics in Kampung Cikadu Indah. The results showed, that the stylistic, spatial, physics and figural quality characters is sunda and banten.
