dc.description.abstract This paper is a critical review of an article from Buhalis and Law written in 2007. In their article described how technology has changed all sectors including the tourism sector. Current tourist demand should be met by tourism organizations through the adoption of technology in their production processes. This is due to the change of tourist types from before the 1990s. Currently tourists tend to be more independent and do not want to follow the mainstream such as travel packages. They tend to seek more value from a tourism activity according to their preferences. If applied today, it can be further elaborated on what technologies should be adopted by tourism organizations. en_US
